A random selection from the hundreds of roses photos, I’ve taken in the past week. The growth of new leaves after several days intrigues me. [Photo bottom left]
The leaves were/are…still, as I write…on the stem of a yellow rose that’s still in bud form.
Today’s Photos and Story –
Do roses have special meaning for you? I don’t experience them that often, nor do I go out of my way to find them. If asked, I wouldn’t think to list roses first as a favorite. What about you?
On the other hand, I’ve spent a lot of time the past 7 days, immersed with my iPhone, photographing two dozen roses, in groups and individually, in various stages of life progression.
Deepest gratitude to my son, his wife and two sons who sent them to me for Mother’s Day. I fell in love with many of the photos which I’ll include in the video. As I was observing and photographing, thoughts kept running around in my head on what message(s) I might draw from them to include in Treasure Your Life Now ezine.
When I finally sat down to do this issue, I went back to two different Roses issues from a few years ago. I was awed and moved by the photos I found included. It was a good eye-opener/reminder. How often I, and I’m sure you, forget the good and great things we do!
What can you Acknowledge yourself for now?

Some of the Self-Reflecting Queries in those issues also surprised me and had an impact. Rather than attempt to select out and rewrite, I’m simply including the links for the issues here. The first is Roses: Celebrating the Past and the Present. It featured the two photos above and the one below. You’ll see them enlarged on the site.
The story, along with the above roses, led to a discussion on relationships, “Righteousness,” as well as “Self-Limiting Beliefs” and “Perspectives.” If you feel yourself being drawn to one or more of the topics, check out the Issue.
Roses and Hugs Say I Love You was the second issue I found in which roses were the featured photos.

The two roses, seemingly hugging, led to a discussion on the importance of hugs. “Acknowledgment” and “Expressions of Love” were also covered.

The above two were also featured in the Roses and Hugs issue.
